Since 2000, MLM has changed dramatically. Many weak MLM companies died off, leaving fewer but better companies while, at the same time, the number of distributors is increasing like a tidal wave--in the United States and, even more so internationally.
Today's MLM is a high tech business. The Internet allows for e-commerce
transactions, nationally and internationally. You don't own and deliver inventory. You can recruit and train distributors online, too.
21st Century MLM differs drastically from "old-time" pre-Internet MLM.
In the old days, you had a locally-confined business--buying, reselling and delivering products. You signed up your grandma and your buddies. You got no training and, within a year, failed and quit, having attended one too many hype meetings.
